“Even further to your right is what looks like another landing strip, but don't even think about it! If you look at your chart, you'11 see that it's displayed as a circle with an 'X' superimposed on it. That means it is an abandoned paved strip which is longer than 3000 feet, and to be used solely as a landmark. Now, it's not a landmark like the Grand Canyon, but you know, some people do get excited about something like an abandoned paved lonely strip!”
