The Square Loop
There are a number of variations to the loop. One of the most popular is the square loop. The square loop is basically a box; you must pull hard on the stick to make the sharp corners.
- Fly straight and level at 500 knots or faster. Pull back hard on the stick until you are in vertical flight. (1)
- Stay vertical for a second or two; then pull back hard again until you are flying inverted. (2)
- Remain inverted for a couple of seconds and then pull back hard again until you're diving straight down. (3)
- After a couple of seconds, pull back hard again and level out. (4)
