Promotions in real life come with time served as well as consistent performance; the same is true in F-19. You must complete a minimum number of missions to qualify for the next rank, and you must also score a minimum number of points and have a minimum overall point average. The number of missions to qualify for the next rank increases as the ranks get higher until, at the Brigadier General level, you must have 99 missions under your belt. The other point requirements are listed below.
