Default Scenery Areas

The first half of this book contains 15 flights, designed for use with the default scenery that comes with Microsoft Flight Simulator 5.1—nothing else is required. In fact, the flights are designed for the floppy-disk version of the program; the CD-ROM version includes some additional scenery features, such as mountains and other physical features, but you will not need those extras in order to complete the trips.

These 15 flights are the same ones that appeared (in slightly different form) in the first two-and-a-half years of Full Throttle magazine. If you like the flights in this book and want more, there is an offer for a free copy of the magazine at the end of this book.
